Why attend the MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition?
After a successful gathering in January 2020, during which His Excellency, Mr. Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal opened the conference, we’re delighted to announce the MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition will return to Dakar on January 27-29, 2021.
As we prepare for the 5th edition, the Summit remains the only event entirely dedicated to exploring oil and gas opportunities in Mauritania, Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea Bissau and Guinea Conakry. Recognised as the meeting place to get the latest updates on ongoing and upcoming projects, and hear directly from local governments on future plans, the Summit has grown tremendously this year. In response to this growth, the Summit will move to the Centre International de Conférences Abdou Diouf (CICAD) and continue its mission to help you:
– Sharpen your business strategy and knowledge of the Basin’s fast-growing industry
– Meet with ministries, regulators, NOCs and government bodies from the five MSGBC countries, all under one roof
– Expand and solidify your network, meeting with both local and international players
– Elevate your company’s profile in one of Africa’s most exciting E&P hotspots
Join the 2021 gathering for three days of senior networking opportunities, strategic panels and data-driven presentations.

MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition
The MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition 2018 gave us a great panorama of the Oil & Gas potential in the region, very interesting networking opportunities and high level discussions. This well organized event is a must do to meet all the stakeholders of the basin.
An excellent organization, with high quality panel discussions, the MSGBC Basin Summit is the place to be to exchange about Oil & Gas activities in Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia and Guinees.
It was a great forum to hear the regulators and E&P companies providing an update on progress of local agreements and progress of the development projects
Brilliantly organised again, great speakers and networking, in short if you’re only going to attend one O&G event in West Africa it has to be the MSGBC Basin Summit & Exhibition.
